エアバッグの廃棄素材を再利用
“アウトドア探検”のコンセプトに根ざしたニューモデル、ゲルソノマ 15-50（フィフティーンフィフティー）。
2014年にリリースされたトレイルランニングシューズの初代ゲルソノマのアウトソールを使用し、クロスカントリー用スパイクとして2002年に発表した15-50のアッパーを組み合わせたハイブリッドスタイル。
本作は、大手自動車部品メーカーの豊田合成が廃棄する予定のエアバッグ生地を再利用した1足。
エアバッグ特有の2色ステッチやナンバリングなどのデザインをそのまま生かしつつ、タン部分は膨らんだときのふわふわ感をイメージ。
資源の継続的な有効活用をテーマに新たなアプローチから生まれた意欲作。
